Our Client:
Our client, based in North London, is a market leader in property finance. They specialise in development finance, bridging finance, commercial and buy to let mortgages. Established almost 20 years ago they are part of one of Europe’s fastest growing property finance groups.
Historically, their business has all come via partners such as IFAs, however, this is a brand new Business Development Manager position designed to win business directly with property professionals (property developers & portfolio landlords).
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious self-starter with a desire to carve a path for themselves within the business. The role is a split between field based and office based in North London.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and close new business opportunities with property professionals. For example, buy to let landlords & property developers
- To understand targets and be able to break down and analyse targets to achieve results
- To build sustainable long-term partnerships with all customers, using a consultative approach, regularly engaging with customers in order to grow the accounts
- Identify opportunities for new markets
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all customers
- Organised and efficient journey planning
- Solid relationship building with staff members
- Attend sales meetings & evening events when required
- Complete sales reports
- Maintain appropriate knowledge of competition and marketplace activity, reporting back any trends or developments
The Successful Candidate:
- A proven track record in New Business sales
- Financial Services/Estate Agency/Property sales link preferable
- Hungry, Energetic, Resilient, Self-starter
The Business Development Manager Package:
Basic Salary – up to £55,000
OTE – £15,000 (Uncapped)
