Business Development Manager – SaaS

We are working exclusively with an exciting scale-up business who are disrupting the hair and beauty sector with their market leading software. Their software helps hair salons, spas and barber shops run their business more efficiently and maximise profit by managing client appointments, cutting back on admin and increasing online presence.  

Our client is seeking a field-based Business Development Manager to cover London. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and closing business with owners of hair salons, barbers, spas and beauty salons. To be successful, you must have a passion for new business. 

Having just secured over £50m in funding, it’s an exciting time to join this fast growth global business. If you are looking for career progression, they have a clear path in place from Business Development Manager to Team Leader and beyond. 

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and close new business opportunities with hair and beauty businesses 
• Manage your own time and pipeline, swiftly move prospects through the sales life cycle effectively 
• Ensure a high level of customer service 
• Use technical ability to liaise closely with Tech/Product teams 
• Maintain appropriate knowledge of competition and marketplace activity, reporting back any trends or developments  

The Successful Candidate:

• 1+ years B2B sales experience 
• A proven track record in new business sales 
• Field sales experience is preferred  
• SaaS sales experience or experience selling to the health, hair and beauty industry is advantageous but not essential  
• An interest in health & beauty is a bonus 
• A self-starter, driven and resilient 
• Full UK Driving Licence 

The Business Development Manager Package:

Basic Salary – £30,000 
OTE – £18,000
£4200 Car Allowance
Employers Pension Contribution 
25 days holiday + 1 additional for every year of service
