Head of Commercial – PropTech – EMEA

A leader in the space, our client is an award-winning PropTech scale-up who provides real-estate engagement and management solutions to commercial property companies.

They have a revenue of $7M and are experiencing high levels of growth each year; they are seeking a Head of Commercial to lead the company into further success and build on what is already a thriving commercial team.

With initial leadership responsibilities of managing one Account Executive, there are plans to multiply the size of the sales team by five this year.

This role covers all of Europe, with ideal candidates being based in the UK, Spain or France.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall commercial strategy in alignment with the organisation’s goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage the sales and business development team, providing guidance, setting goals and targets, coaching and performance evaluation
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, operations, and product development
  • Develop pricing strategies and evaluate pricing models to optimize profitability and competitiveness
  • Oversee the negotiation of contracts, agreements and partnerships with clients
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates on commercial performance, sales metrics, market trends and business opportunities
  • Monitor and manage the commercial budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have sales leadership experience
  • Software sales experience
  • Must be fluent in both English and either French, Spanish or German; fluency/proficiency in a third language would be a plus

The Head of Commercial Package

  • Basic Salary: £100,000-120,000
  • OTE: £150,000-200,000 (uncapped)
  • Additional quarterly bonus
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
